Thank you for using the StudioS Fighter Maker Function Expansion Plugin. This program is an expansion DLL designed to add modern features to games created with Fighter Maker 2nd (KGT2nd).
—————– [1] Installation —————- 1. Place ’dsound.dll’ in the same folder as your game’s executable (.exe). (If placed in the same folder as the ’KGT2nd_EDITOR.exe,’ the plugin features will also apply during test plays within the editor.)
2. In the same folder, create a text file named ’URL.txt’ and write the URL (official site, etc.) you wish to open in a browser on a single line.
3. The plugin will load automatically when the game is launched.
————- [2] Controls ————- The following features are activated by pressing these keys during gameplay:
[F5] True Fullscreen Maximizes the game while maintaining the 4:3 aspect ratio with black bars. Displays a crisp image regardless of Windows DPI/scaling settings.
[F6] Launch Browser Opens the URL specified in ’URL.txt’ using your default browser.
[F7] Debug Board Displays the current values of system variables (V0_A to V15_P) in the top-left corner of the screen. Press again to hide.
————————————— [3] Save/Load Function (For Developers) ————————————— This plugin monitors system variable P (V15) to perform the following actions:
– When Variable P = 1: Saves the current state of system variables A to O (V0 to V14) to ’SaveData.dat.’
– When Variable P = 2: Loads values from ’SaveData.dat’ and applies them to system variables A to O.
* Note: After the Save/Load process is complete, Variable P is automatically reset to 0.
——————————————- [4] Regarding the Fighter Maker 2nd Engine ——————————————- – This plugin functions by complementing game operations within the system memory at runtime. It does not directly modify or alter the Fighter Maker 2nd (KGT2nd) engine itself.
